Speech listening test
About 20 minutes. You can stop at any point and continue later with the same participant code.
Before you start
- Use headphones in a quiet room. Laptop speakers hide exactly the differences this test is about.
- Set your volume with the calibration clip below, then leave it alone for the rest of the session.
- You will hear two kinds of question: how natural a clip sounds, and whether two clips are the same person. The instructions repeat on every screen.
- Some clips are in languages you may not speak. That is expected — never judge the content, only the sound of the voice.
Reuse the same code to continue an unfinished session.
Used only to check whether understanding a language changed how it was rated.
